Abdominal Ultrasounds

An abdominal ultrasound is a non-invasive procedure used to examine and evaluate an animal’s internal organs without having to create an incision.

Abdominal ultrasounds can be used for a variety of purposes which may include assessing tumors, examining organs, among other things. The abdominal ultrasound is also used extensively in assessing the peritoneal cavity, lymph nodes and allowing us to gain a better understanding of the health of your pet without the need for invasive surgical examination under anesthesia. This also gives us the opportunity to avoid the risks, pain and recovery that comes along with surgical procedure/exploration.

Conveniently, we transport our specialized equipment directly to your veterinary hospital/clinic, complete the ultrasound in-house and then submit imaging back to our board-certified radiologist for interpretation.
