What You Can Expect at Your Veterinary Practice

Call or text us to set up an appointment, and we will be there within an allotted time range to perform ultrasound on your patient(s). We ask that your patient be dropped off at your practice for a morning appointment at 8am and an afternoon appointment at 12 noon. We cannot always offer specific appointment times for the ultrasounds due to many variables including: number of stops and their locations, extra procedures & complications, traffic, weather, etc.

When we arrive, we will set up our equipment in an exam room or other room that can be easily darkened and prep your patient for their ultrasound. Please be sure to remind your client that their pet will be shaved for the procedure. For abdominal ultrasounds, a large area will need to be shaved.

Once we complete the ultrasound, which takes approximately 30 minutes, we will share the images with you. If you request an interpretation, we will send the digital images to our board-certified radiologist for an interpretation. Our board-certified partners will provide you with a detailed report of their findings within 24-48 hours after our visit.
